Privacy policy

This policy explains how Sandro Carvalho (“we”), responsible for DevPulse AI, handles personal data on this website and in the DevPulse AI app, in accordance with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018).
1. Data controller

2. What we collect on the website
- Email address, provided by you on the download page.
- Consent records: the date and time you accepted this policy and whether you opted in to new-version notices.
- Download records: which installer was downloaded and when, linked to your email.
- Technical data: page language, a shortened browser identification (user agent) and a one-way hash of your IP address, used against abuse. We do not store your IP address itself.
We do not use analytics tools, advertising pixels or third-party trackers, and the site loads no external resources.

4. Cookies and local storage
We use a single functional cookie (dp_dl) that keeps your download unlocked for 24 hours. The site also saves your theme choice (light/dark) in your browser’s local storage. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
5. Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share your data. It is stored on the server hosting this site, which acts only as infrastructure. Data may be disclosed if required by law or court order.
6. Retention
We keep your email and records while the relationship is active or until you ask for deletion. Records without activity for 24 months are deleted. Withdrawing consent for notices does not delete the download history unless you ask.
7. Your rights
Under LGPD art. 18 you may request confirmation, access, correction, anonymization, portability or deletion of your data, information about sharing, and withdraw your consent at any time. Send your request to suporte@devpulseai.app.br; we reply within 15 days.
8. Security
Access to the data is restricted and protected by a password, the connection uses HTTPS and IP addresses are stored only as a salted hash.
9. The DevPulse AI app
The app works locally. Diffs, snapshots, history, spend and settings are stored on your computer; API keys go to the operating system keychain. The app does not send your code anywhere. External calls happen only: (a) to fetch the daily exchange rate (can be turned off); (b) to read your Claude plan limits from Anthropic using the login Claude Code already has; (c) when you trigger a feature that uses an AI model or a provider API, with your own key and with the text sanitized first. Anonymous usage metrics are opt-in and off by default.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be announced on this site.
